Volunteer with us
Our volunteering opportunities are designed for individuals who want to contribute their skills, time, and experience in thoughtful, purposeful ways. As an early-stage foundation, we value volunteers who are patient, collaborative, and aligned with our values.
We welcome volunteers and collaborators who are willing to engage with care, responsibility, and respect for the communities we serve. Opportunities may be short-term, project-based, or ongoing, depending on programme needs.
Fundraising & resource mobilisation
Support our efforts to raise funds and build sustainable partnerships.You may contribute by:
- Supporting fundraising campaigns and outreach
- Assisting with donor communication and follow-ups
- Helping organise small fundraising events or initiatives
Community visits & on-ground support
Participate in carefully planned community visits alongside the Bāl Shiksha Foundation team. You may:
- Accompany during programme or school visits
- Support documentation and observation
- Assist with coordination during field activities
Teaching & learning support.
Contribute directly to children’s learning journeys through academic and co-curricular support. Depending on need, readiness and child-safeguarding guidelines, you may support:
- Foundational learning in reading, writing, and numeracy
- Academic support in subjects such as English or Mathematics
Mentorship & child engagement.
Support children beyond academics through encouragement, guidance, and exposure. You may contribute by:
- Mentoring older students
- Supporting life-skills or confidence-building sessions
- Assisting in structured group activities
- Creative or co-curricular activities that encourage confidence and expression
